Ongoing project
Commissioned by Urbaser, the project includes the expansion of the existing treatment plant through the construction of a new reception and pre-treatment area, new physico-chemical treatment systems, high- and low-load biological reactors, a membrane bioreactor (MBR) treatment system, a new sludge treatment line and several auxiliary facilities. All works will be carried out while the existing plant remains fully operational, requiring exceptionally precise planning and continuous coordination between the different project teams.
From a technological perspective, the upgraded plant will incorporate some of the most advanced solutions currently available for the treatment of industrial wastewater and leachates with varying characteristics, establishing itself as a benchmark project thanks to both its technical complexity and its ability to manage different types of industrial effluents using state-of-the-art treatment technologies.
