The Sagrada Familia reaches a new milestone with the installation of the cross on the Tower of Jesus Christ

Constructora del Cardoner has been continuously involved in the project since 2017, contributing to both construction and restoration works across different parts of the complex, with a specialised team experienced in high-complexity and high-altitude operations.

The construction of the Tower of Jesus Christ has represented one of the project’s most demanding challenges, both in terms of its scale and the construction systems employed, combining precision, advanced technology and craftsmanship.

The project is carried out within a highly demanding technical and heritage context, requiring advanced logistics based on off-site pre-assembly and millimetre-accurate on-site installation, supported by monitoring and modelling technologies.

With this milestone, the Sagrada Familia continues progressing towards completion, consolidating its position as one of the most unique and complex construction projects in the world.
