Depurnord promotes a new wastewater treatment plant in Sauce Viejo through ARCASA

The facility will serve the Los Domingos neighbourhood with a total treatment capacity of 1,800 m³/day.

Depurnord is participating in the construction of a Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) in the Los Domingos neighbourhood of Sauce Viejo (Santa Fe Province, Argentina), through ARCASA, an Argentine–Catalan company in which Depurnord holds a stake.

The facility consists of two concentric modules arranged in parallel, each with a capacity of 900 m³/day and designed for a BOD concentration of 300 mg/l. Each module incorporates a biological reactor, a secondary clarifier and a disinfection chamber.

The system is completed by a biological sludge dewatering unit and a pumping station equipped with a self-cleaning vertical screen, ensuring process efficiency and operational reliability.

This project strengthens Depurnord’s international presence in the wastewater and sanitation sector and consolidates a collaborative business model between Argentina and Catalonia.
