OSERMA begins the renewal of the irrigation system at Plaça Sagrada Família in Barcelona
The intervention forms part of the Pla Endreça programme and includes upgrades to the irrigation system and surrounding green spaces.
We have begun works to renew the irrigation system at Plaça Sagrada Família in Barcelona, as part of the framework agreement for public space infrastructure works in the city, carried out through our OSERMA division.
The intervention includes the complete replacement of the existing irrigation system, as well as the planting of new shrub vegetation and the installation of urban furniture and boundary elements, with the aim of improving the quality and maintenance of the green spaces.
This first phase focuses on Plaça Sagrada Família and is scheduled for completion before June, in coordination with the activity dynamics of the surrounding area. A second phase will subsequently be carried out at Plaça Gaudí.
The project is part of the Pla Endreça programme promoted by Ajuntament de Barcelona, aimed at improving and upgrading public space. It is being delivered under a precise planning framework to ensure timely execution and proper integration within a high-traffic urban environment.
