Cardoner Instal·lacions and the full upgrade of the HVAC system at Teatre Kursaal in Manresa

The project has modernised the HVAC and domestic hot water systems through energy-efficient solutions and centralised control.

Cardoner Instal·lacions has completed the full refurbishment of the HVAC and domestic hot water systems at the Teatre Kursaal in Manresa, an intervention aimed at improving energy performance and operational reliability.

The works included the complete replacement of existing equipment with high-efficiency systems, featuring the installation of six heat pumps with a total capacity of 612 kW, along with the renewal of ductwork, electrical cabling and indoor climate control units.

The project was completed with the implementation of a centralised energy management and control system, enabling optimised system performance and improved operational efficiency.

In addition, new hot and cold water buffer tanks were installed, together with acoustic protection measures for outdoor equipment, ensuring user comfort and proper integration of the systems within the surrounding environment.

Through this intervention, Cardoner Instal·lacions strengthens its expertise in the refurbishment of technical systems in cultural facilities, delivering efficient, sustainable and project-specific solutions.
